Jacomo for Men Intense Jacomo 2016

I had high expectations for this blind buy based on the comments and statements. I really enjoy buying blind! It's always exciting to experience how different subjective perceptions can be. I never really encounter complete rubbish, as I can trust the significantly better noses here. The anticipation for this Jakob was enormous!
I tore open the package right away and applied it to my wrist. I was just out doing the weekly shopping with my frail mother and held my wrist right under her nose!
"Smell a new one!"
"Fragrance? Good toilet spray!"
Well, my mother isn't exactly a fragrance expert. However, she is a grateful recipient of my cheapies, which I find too boring. In her assisted living unit, she currently always appears in a cloud of Hash Intense. And that with a parrot shirt and at 74. Love my Mamicka!
In this case, I have to agree with her! The top note is really fucking toilet spray! You can't imagine! Synthetic bergamot.
This house spray note lasts about an hour. And you have to endure that.
A sensitive nose will throw in the towel after a maximum of 20 minutes and probably disappear for an hour in the shower. Then pour half a bottle of Bentley Intense over it to compensate and get drunk on rubbing alcohol.
Thank goodness my nose isn't sensitive!
The best of Jakob actually comes after an hour. Muted sandalwood and cedar! On a bed of orange blossoms and patchouli. Unfortunately, unfortunately, without strength. Now, of course, a sensitive nose could pick up a lot... But those sensitive noses are now completely overwhelmed with rubbing alcohol in the corner and are being treated by the emergency doctor..
For me and my nose, it's simply too little. Almost unnoticeable after 2 hours.
For that, I don't need a fragrance. Out of respect for the grandiose namesake from the same house, I will still gather reactions from other noses and possibly expand my comment. Speaking of Jacomo by Jacomo: this one has nothing in common with him except for the name. Please don't be misled into thinking Jacomo Intense would be a stronger continuation. It's a completely different fragrance DNA.
Yes, and only because of the grandiose father will I give Jacomo Intense another chance.
I can always wear it because I can't smell anything after 2 hours anyway...
