Can it still remain a hidden gem?

I’ll try something: so far, this Eau de Parfum is still completely unknown. At least in our latitudes. Yet it offers tremendous potential to shoot through the roof. Let’s see if we can get something moving here.

Perhaps the top note with its citrusy-bergamot opening is relatively conventional and doesn’t captivate you right away. But at the latest, when cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom sneak in as a sweet-spicy trio and blend with the balanced hint of refreshing orange blossoms, it could be game over for some.

It’s almost like taking the spicier version of Wrigley’s “Juicy Fruit” and a sliver of “Red Band” along with half an orange “Tic Tac” all at once - in a gustatory sense, of course.

The fragrance feels overall uncomplicated, yet not entirely simple - like a brilliantly produced pop song that meanders into your ears, making you think how simple it is, only to secretly realize there’s a bit more behind it.

Because even what seems to be stated and perhaps remains hidden makes sense overall. Spicy, fruity, sweet, floral, fresh, woody are its attributes with a slight twist into the gourmand - and all of it quite masculine!

Thus, Jacomo for Men Intense simply radiates heaps of good mood and ultimately makes it a universal go-to fragrance that can be worn regardless of seasons and times of day, moods, and life situations. Well, maybe more when the sun is shining in the sky and in the heart, but I would just as well spray it on rainy days as a mood lifter.

I can congratulate the perfumer Vincent Ricord for truly creating something appealingly unique, even if the fragrance remains rather straightforward and doesn’t allow for big twists. On the other hand, this means that despite generous longevity, one shouldn’t have too high expectations for the base notes.

Anyone who feels addressed so far is welcome to take a sniff, because this Jacomo is still a hidden gem, and it shouldn’t remain that way. After all, it truly deserves to be shared with the world.

Great comment. Hmmm. Wrigley's "Juicy Fruit" smells so damn good; it smells even better than it tastes. Seems like an interesting Jacomo.

Wow, this is a scent with character! I don't regret buying it blind and I’ll be enjoying this 100ml bottle for a long time.

I believe that due to this mouth-watering comment, the seller PD has been overwhelmed. Even yesterday morning, I fell for an impulse buy, but so far I haven't received an order confirmation, nor is there any order showing in my account... :-/

I've already mentioned that with the right marketing, it could be a hit. At the same time, I hope it doesn't turn out that way. @KC2503: Looks like our little secret won't stay a secret for long :-(

This sounds like a contender for the all-in-one solution in the world of fragrances. I just invested fifty bucks in a blind buy.

For me, it hasn't been a hidden gem for a while, but it's better this way than if it gets so hyped that everyone wears it.
