Silences Purple Jacomo 2004

This perfume probably would never have caught my interest without internet communities.
Just a very "cheap" packaging. Simple. Plastic. Cheap-looking. "Girly". Nondescript.

But I discovered the scent through charts where it was always listed among fragrances with high sillage and long-lasting power. And that for such a price? Crazy...
So I read comments and reviews on various sites and shops, which were always positive and mostly extremely enthusiastic!
Okay...there must be something to it... I really should get it, especially since it's so affordable.
So recently I finally ordered it cheaply. It says it has been discontinued, but it is definitely still available on eBay and Amazon. Just Google it.

Today the package arrived.
The packaging is really a little eye-catcher for such
"Eternal-girls / PINK, GLITTER- Magpies"
like ME. Pink and shimmering in the light. However, it looks cheap.

The bottle also looks cheap. Round and plastic in violet/dark pink.
In golden letters "Silences" and so on...
So no, it’s not an eye-catcher.

From internet photos, I thought it might be a dupe of GUCCI RUSH. This also doesn’t have a great packaging but smells very nice, pleasant, versatile, appealing to many.
...but that’s not the case....

So I test the perfume on the back of my hand and immediately think I know that scent!!! Hmm...?

And then it hits me like a ton of bricks!!
Dior!!!!!
Dior Addict!!!!
What I bought about half/three-quarters of a year ago for around 70 euros and returned after a few days because I somehow didn’t like the scent at home as much as in Douglas... somehow too cloying, somehow unbearable for me. And for that price a perfume that I can’t really stand? No!
Dior Addict is always in the top ten of perfumes that men like... That’s why it was actually only attractive to me... but no, I just couldn’t get into it.
I’m not looking for a man, I have one, but one still wants to be a femme fatale who smells so seductive and yet is so unattainable.... But Dior somehow gave me headaches.

So I bought Silences for 25 euros without knowing what it smells like.
But I’m still very happy to have it. Because if I want, I can still be the deep, dark femme fatale/vanilla monster... without having paid a lot of money that I would regret in small moments of disgust later.

Although there’s no vanilla listed in the pyramid... Maybe it’s tonka, which often comes off as vanilla... but I find Silences has exactly that deep, dark, creamy intense and heavy vanilla note like Dior Addict, which unfortunately usually tightens my stomach.

But somehow I do like it! Just not all the time!
And I’m happy to own such an extremely good alternative.

The longevity is incredible, as is the sillage.

So all Dior Addict fans should definitely grab it while it’s still available online!!!!!
Definitely a cheap alternative for more frequent spraying or to keep the Dior a bit longer! You will love it!!!!
