Curaçao Bay really appeals to me. This scent is fresh, pleasantly aquatic and citrusy, with a hint of sweetness. It manages to take me mentally a bit on vacation. A warm summer holiday at the beach.
Admittedly, I had known the scent for a while, but somehow never tested or took it seriously. What a shame, because it really is a blast!
The scent starts off fresh, aquatic/maritime, and pleasantly citrusy for me. The citrus elements are also slightly fruity. Occasionally, I got the faintest gum vibes during this phase. Not the typical gum, but a very refreshing one. Additionally, I sometimes felt like I was catching a whiff of coconut.
Over time, a bit of black currant joins in. The fresh gum associations are now gone for me. Towards the end, a super pleasant clean musk comes in.
Simply put, it's a really great scent that reminds me of vacations and mentally takes me to new holidays. Especially since I haven't had the chance to go on vacation this year, something like this is really wonderful!
