Spiderswine, Spiderswine
So,… it was clear that I would eventually come to scents like this. Not because I was running out of fragrances to test. And not because I wouldn’t dare to venture into the women’s section for women’s fragrances.
But… because I am a damn freaky NERD, okay? I’m one… who likes comics, and Star Wars, and Indy, and even more comics, and video games, and superheroes and and AND AND AND!!! Oh, and of course also cats :D
You already know all of this about me. Okay, okay… and even though I often (hopefully) add that I’m also totally nice and above all normal, no one believes me and I get labeled as a freak (and that, even though nerd is actually the right term, even more accurate would just be “fan” :DD).
So let’s continue:
It’s not surprising that I had to try the scent just because of the sight of the bottle with the Spider-Man logo, even though I’m not such a big Spider-Man fan and prefer the movies over reading the comics. Of course, I knew that one shouldn’t expect much here, but still… scent is scent, so it gets tested…
But first things first:
STAY HERE, DAMN IT! I know that you “normal” people won’t care about a scent based on a comic character, especially when there’s a huuuuge spider on the bottle, but still, pleeeeeeease stay!!!
So,… if I hadn’t been in public, I would probably have sung Homer Simpson’s version of the Spider-Man song, because ever since the Simpsons movie a few years ago, I can only think of Spiderswine when I hear Spider-Man:… Spiderswine, Spiderswine! Does whatever a Spiderswine does. Can it swing from a web? No, it can’t! It’s a pig! Look out, here comes the Spiderswine! :D
The sweetness initially comes from jasmine, but later more from musk. A slight herbal note seems to radiate from the background but fades away quickly.
In the base, the scent is a bit woody-spicy, the synthetic notes remain, and the scent is still sweet.
The longevity is also low, as you can hardly perceive the scent after three to four hours.
Okay, as expected, the scent turned out to be absolutely insignificant, and it smells quite synthetic, especially in the base. Fortunately, it doesn’t smell bad either. I personally wouldn’t necessarily wear it (no matter how often you call me a nerd here, I don’t have to have EVERYTHING!!! Although I did recently get plush eggs shaped like comic heroes because they were reduced to 1 Euro, uh…. but that’s another story :DD).
But as a little gift or a small present for kids who don’t mind perfumes (there are also kids who are interested in scents), it’s ideal, especially since the bottle looks cool. And since the sillage isn’t too strong and fades quickly over time, parents won’t necessarily be annoyed if the little Spiderswine… um… Spider-Man fan keeps spraying themselves with it again and again :D
So until next time! Best wishes,
the friendly spider from the neighborhood!

The scent:
The scent starts off quite sweet and synthetic, as one might expect from such fragrances. It also has fruity undertones that I can’t really identify. The sweetness initially comes from jasmine, but later more from musk. A slight herbal note seems to radiate from the background but fades away quickly.
In the base, the scent is a bit woody-spicy, the synthetic notes remain, and the scent is still sweet.
The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is actually not worth mentioning. Initially, you might still catch a whiff of the scent, but it loses strength far too quickly, so you won’t be radiating a big scent cloud. The longevity is also low, as you can hardly perceive the scent after three to four hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is red and has tactile spider webs as a pattern on the front, with the Spider-Man logo in black in the center. The cap is also black, cylindrical, and it features the Spider-Man logo again (now in white). Thematically, it looks pretty cool :DOkay, as expected, the scent turned out to be absolutely insignificant, and it smells quite synthetic, especially in the base.
