Here I must unfortunately admit, to my shame, that I saw this summer edition and thought: wow, so cheap, I’d rather take this version than the classic. I wish I had saved in another area.... at first, the lovely sweet-clean scent is noticeable. But I can't write anything about a fragrance development or similar, as the scent is no longer present on my skin after about 5 minutes. Desperately, I sniff my wrists and hair but cannot find the fragrance. However, one shouldn't give up right away, as often you can't smell anything yourself, while everyone around you can. So I asked my boyfriend for his opinion, but he just said: I smell nothing.... hmmm... To not speak too poorly of Mr. Gaultier, I conclude that the fragrance itself is certainly not bad-if only it had something like sillage and longevity. Next time, I will definitely reach for the EDP.
I definitely agree with you. You can rarely go wrong with the originals. The first one that comes to mind is AlienAquaChic; it lasts and lasts... but you have to like it; it's not for my nose.
I've generally moved away from summer editions; the original is usually better and lasts longer. If you know of a summer edition that lives up to its promises, I'd be very interested :) Don't be annoyed, just reapply more often with the beautiful bottle :)
