La Favorite Jean Paul Gaultier 2026

I actually find La Favorite really beautiful. The longevity is good on me, while the sillage is rather moderate.

To me, it mainly smells like a really good, high-quality body lotion, very creamy, soft and well-groomed. I actually like that quite a lot. The musk, ylang-ylang and rose come through very well.

My only real drawback is the sweetness; personally, it is simply a touch too sweet for me, which is not necessarily surprising with Jean Paul Gaultier.

To be honest, I cannot really understand the comparison with J’adore by Dior, as I do not see much similarity there. To me, the two fragrances go in quite different directions.

Overall, though, I think La Favorite is well done. If it were a little less sweet for me, I would probably like it considerably more.
