Yes...no...maybe...
Since I have come across this...well, let's say, colorful bottle for the umpteenth time and since I am always happy about something cheaper (still haven't won the lottery), I boldly decided to spray it directly on my skin at Mr. Rossi's.
Wow.
Sweet. Spicy. Loud. Obtrusive. Mhh, somehow tasty. What does it smell like?? Or have I possibly tested it before and just blocked it out??
Oh no, somehow not.
Sniffing again...Not so bad after all. Somehow also vanilla-warm. Or?
What can I say, this went on the whole rest of the day, I just couldn't help but keep sniffing it, because somehow it has something. It's not boring, not flat and watery-sweet; there's some power in it. Is that thyme? Or does saffron smell like this? I can only guess/suspect mandarin, as I don't perceive it as a single note; the rest is too dominant for me.
The combination of spicy and sweet has seduced me before, even when I didn't want to be seduced. Mind you, there's nothing here that I perceive as piercingly sharp; it's more of a spiciness like in deliciously seasoned candies, it reminds me a bit of the spiced candies you get at the Christmas market.
I can't claim that this scent smells particularly noble. But I also don't find it strikingly "cheap."
A bit provocative, it's yet another scent that practically demands to be sniffed while wearing it.
I find the name quite fitting; it can be worn on days when you're in the mood for nothing but favorite music (whether it's rock, that's up to everyone) and feeling a little exuberant. Maybe for rearranging furniture? When you need a little olfactory kick? Or when you're just generally in the mood for "loud"...
I wouldn't necessarily wear it for a literary gathering or a parent-teacher meeting. But maybe afterwards, depending on how the latter went :))
So, I definitely wouldn't endure it every day; I'm not even sure if I would buy it...Although... :)
I'm afraid I urgently need to buy laundry detergent or shampoo or something, and then casually turn the corner...
Oh yes, it lasts like crazy, even on clothes; I can still smell it after a thorough shower. And what I personally find pleasant, unlike many other scents, is that it doesn't change its character when it comes into contact with water. I've often experienced this: suddenly the delicious sweetness is washed away, and only a piercing, nasty undertone remains.
Edit
To reassure everyone who is put off by the design of the bottle: The decoration is just glued on, so you can "strip" the bottle naked. :)
