I usually find it difficult to assign a perfume to a season - most of the time I think, well, I can wear this scent anytime. Jasmin Secret can also be worn anytime, but it definitely embodies late spring/early summer like few others.
The same goes for gender. I firmly believe that perfume has no gender, but this one I find hard to imagine on a man. Perhaps on an older unconventional gentleman.
Overall, this is a scent that is also suitable for a perfume beginner - basically regardless of age, but especially for girls transitioning to womanhood. It has something fresh and playful about it and fits well as a first perfume with its naturalness.
The first thing that stands out to me is the peach. However, it is very light and juicy, not heavy-sweet-alcoholic like you can smell in some oriental perfumes.
Then comes something green, almost minty. It reminds me of young green leaves in the spring breeze.
Right behind it, the flower unfolds. Jasmine is very clear, but not piercing, rather very soft. Violet... maybe, maybe not. It is certainly not just jasmine, there is also something else white, but more rounded instead of “bam here’s a white flower and that’s it” like white blossoms can sometimes be for my nose.
Once the scent settles a bit, you can also sense something woody, but the sandalwood is absolutely not the main character here, rather just the harmony-bringing supporting role.
All in all, I agree with the title from FranziKmp: a white summer dress.
