A very dense sweet plastic tuberose
Upon my first sniff of Gozo, I was overwhelmed by the uniqueness of the fragrance. It is difficult for me to classify, as it straddles gourmand (vanilla) - floral (tuberose and orange blossom) - oriental (patchouli, vanilla, amber), yet carries a certain freshness, likely due to the cedar. There are also some woody notes present.
The scent is incredibly dense: After spraying (the sample), I always feel as if I have stamped my skin - perhaps this association comes from the certain plastic note that resonates, or from the fact that the fragrance has only a slight sillage on me. So, while Gozo does not come across as light and airy, it is suitable for all seasons! I have worn the sample on both the hottest summer day and a cool autumn day. Gozo is also a typical unisex fragrance.
A unique perfume that is worth trying! Those looking for something floral yet different will find themselves well-advised here.
