Unique and perfect

Beautiful perfume. Definitely in the top 5 in my collection.
Gozo is a perfume that touches the refined tuberose with a bit of citrus as well as patchouli. The drydown is mostly cedar and beautiful amber.
This is a fresh perfume with a little sweetness.
I wore it to my sister's wedding and got lots of compliments. The performance is amazingly good it last all day while the projection is nuclear.

A Florida orange and a tuberose had a baby who grew up and went to boarding school in Paris

Gozo has to be the most unusual tuberose I have ever sampled, like a Florida orange and a tuberose had a trailer-park baby who grew up and went to boarding school in Paris. The saffron and citrus laden white flowers in the opening are straight off from the Sunshine State, to my nose a bit suntanned, a bit bubble-gum popping trashy, but elevated by the cedar and violets in the heart to a more respectable status. This tuberose is bitter-sweet, spicy, enticing. She dries down to a musky patchouli that never quite loses its grip on all the beauty that came before. I bought a whole box of Jeroboam samples because of Gozo; she just grabbed me by the nose and twisted and pulled me into her fantasy. She just lasts and lasts and never leaves you, even with just a few puffs from a tiny sample.

What is Jeroboam? I need to learn more about this asap!

A tuberose unlike anything else, able to be worn by anyone.

I haven't really smelled a tuberose like this before. I'm a bit mad that I only tried Gozo today while at the Scent Bar in DTLA, as I've been to that store and noticed that neon orange bottle many times before. It's so unique. Of course, you're hit with a narcotic and sweet tuberose upon spraying, but saffron quickly joins it, an unexpected and wonderful pairing. It becomes woodier and more complex as it dries; a prominent patchouli further deepens the scent profile and becomes the anchor of the base. This could be worn *whenever* and is absolutely daily wear material, though, with a profile like this, I would naturally want to reserve it for those going-out days. I find it perfectly unisex, but I'm sure that some of my same-sex peers may be scared off by the tuberose. Lovely all-around, it leaves little else to be desired.

Silent, refined goodness

This isn’t a loud tuberose scent, and it doesn’t have that heady floral feel. The tuberose is toned down and it blends smoothly into the patchouli instead of standing out on its own. The saffron comes through the most from the start and stays noticeable till the end.
The projection is on the softer side, sitting close to the skin rather than filling a room. There’s very little sweetness here. Gozo feels more like an evening fragrance, the kind of scent that works best in low light like a relaxed jazz night. I really like this one. I layered it with Angels share one of those nights and it worked beautifully, turning into a very seductive cinnamon bun. Did I mention I really like Gozo?

Intriguing

So I received this yesterday, and upon first spray I planned on sending it back. I couldn't understand the hype or see anything beautiful about it tbh. Yet as the hours passed I would continuously smell something so beautiful wafting up and slowly but surely decided to keep it.

I will update in a few weeks.
