Stylessence Jil Sander 2007

Encounter:
Styleessence is something I have always wanted to have. It embodies something very feminine and sensual for me. Somehow the years have gone by, and now after almost 8 years, I remembered it again. A friend mentioned that her best friend only uses this fragrance! So I had to test it again...

Scent:
The scent is quite intense. A rather warm-woody-dry fragrance that doesn't come off too floral.
Still, for me, it is by no means "masculine," as some here write. On the contrary!
I also smell vanilla, even though it is not listed here. I definitely smell musk. That's exactly what I really like. It is indeed rather strong and has a high recognition value. Not a run-of-the-mill scent! Not for everyone; it is somehow a confident fragrance. You stand out... When I wear it, I feel like: "hey! Yes, I'm here... yes, exactly... it's me who smells so damn good" :D

Association:
I associate something sensual with the scent. It is more of an autumn-winter fragrance for me. I see myself in front of the fireplace in a mountain cabin with my boyfriend... of course on the bear skin... made of fake fur, of course :) Or on a romantic walk in the snow after a romantic dinner.

Longevity:
The longevity is unbelievably good for me. I used it this morning, and I can still smell it very strongly! I was even asked about it after a few hours. I sprayed it twice, and that’s enough...
It lasts until I take a shower... :D

Conclusion:
A rather intense fragrance that makes you stand out. It has a recognition value and radiates a certain warm, attractive aura. At the same time, it also has a loving aura, where you feel "at home" or simply comfortable. However, it is not a candidate that you should just order "blindly," as it is not an everyday scent. Therefore, you should test it. I would say it appeals to someone who likes stronger and vanilla scents that also contain musk, e.g., Coco Mademoiselle, or Le Premiere by Lolita Lempicka!
