Sun Men Lavender & Vetiver Jil Sander 2021

Jil Sander Sun Men Lavender & Vetiver is a nice flanker of the Sun Men line. If you're looking for a fresh, light scent with a shower gel vibe and a low price, you’ve come to the right place.

Lavender is definitely noticeable in the opening, with rosemary also subtly present. Eucalyptus adds an extra freshness after a short while and transitions to the vetiver. I really like vetiver in fragrances, and here it is used very subtly compared to, for example, Encre Noir by Lalique. The flanker has little in common with the classic Jil Sander Sun Men, perhaps at most the slightly southern note.

Longevity and sillage are average, typical for a fresh scent. I would say 2-3 hours, after which it noticeably fades. The price-performance ratio is excellent; you get 125ml for a small amount of money. Due to its size, the bottle is a bit bulky and unwieldy.
