You're right, in another test I also noticed a similarity to Ambre Sublime. It has patchouli, apple, and vanilla in it, among other things. Funny enough, there's no amber despite the name. It's crazy how differently we can perceive a scent at different times and/or situations.
Baerlie is exactly right, a fragrance can show itself in so many different ways. So please don’t take it off your watchlist because of my statement, it’s best to test it yourself ;)
You can really see how differently a scent can present itself. Luckily, patchouli doesn’t show up on me at all. Amber isn’t really present either; it’s actually a fine spicy vanilla that you can wear well even in warmer temperatures.
