Convinced!
Maybe a little upfront: the title is the program for my review.
Until now, I only knew Jimmy Choo as an elegant high heels brand. My first association was "glitter, glamour, Jimmy Choo."
When I heard from some entertaining YouTubers about THE vanilla perfume par excellence, I became intrigued. I mean, we are talking about vanilla here. This was already the reason to read a bit about this rather unknown scent. Unfortunately, I couldn't obtain a sample in any way. What was left?
Blind buy - under the motto - no risk no fun ?.
The bottle convinced me at first glance.
Now to the scent! I must confess, and I am being honest here, the first spray didn't really blow me away. It wasn't bad, but buying a scent for that price that doesn't wow you left a somewhat "bitter" aftertaste for me.
Well, I guess I got an everyday scent for a rather hefty price, that's fine too.
What happened? A few days later, while out in the city, I sprayed myself with Vanilla Love. The scent wafted around me constantly. I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the cold, I was enveloped by an indescribably beautiful vanilla scent that I had never smelled before. On one hand silky, soft - on the other hand expressive and present. I couldn't believe it was the scent that I hadn't really liked at first. I still don't know what it was? Did it need to recover? Does the scent shine particularly in the cold? Anyway. I try to describe what I perceive: vanilla that starts with a fruity aromatic kick and gradually transforms into a spicy sweet, very, very stylish soft scent. I think the tonka bean and toffee sweeten this scent, but the other notes ensure it doesn't drift into the edible. That's art.
It is not piercing or biting, not synthetic and not edible. In my eyes, this scent is an elegant, attractive fragrance with a vanilla that has simply convinced me with its diversity. I claim it enhances the beauty of every woman. I wouldn't label this scent as unisex. But again - to each their own :).
In the end, I am glad to have stumbled upon this scent and to own it.
P.S. every time I walk past the hallway (where the jacket I wore hangs), a waft of Vanilla Love always comes to my nose. AND that means something!!!
What remains? The scent has convinced me ?.
