The Little Brother of Eros Najim
Qaed Al Fursan is a truly affordable alternative to Eros Najim, the fragrance embodies a spicy/woody sweetness and the well-known Eros scent profile.
This scent was created for the masses, it is nothing really special or extravagant.
One can argue about the longevity, I find the fragrance somewhat weak at times but I still receive many compliments for it and am often asked what I am wearing.
From my perspective, this is truly a safe blind buy.

Great Pleasing Sweetness with Eros DNA
This new release from the Qaed al Fursan line was eagerly anticipated. This fragrance is being marketed as a dupe for "Eros Najim | Versace." I must confess that I am (still) not familiar with this Eros flanker. I will probably skip it unless a sample happens to flutter into my home. In any case, the MSRP prices of this Versace are already hefty considering how expensive Versace fragrances used to be. The nice thing is that there are always great alternatives available, especially in many cases from Lattafa. Designer fragrances are generally quite easy to dupe, and there are already good alternatives for most best-selling designers. So here is an alternative to the new Eros for under €20, which could fit quite well into the upcoming autumn months. This fragrance is sweet-spicy-warm and impresses with great autumn vibes that are definitely suitable for everyday wear for this "Eros DNA." If you are a fan of this Eros line, you can definitely add this one to your cart.

This is flanker number 2. The original "Qaed Al Fursan | Lattafa / لطافة" is a pure pineapple overkill, while the flanker "Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited / قائد الفرسان | Lattafa / لطافة" is a creamy-clean scent. All three have nothing to do with each other in terms of DNA.
The bottle is uniform and comes in a standard box. It looks good and also has a great magnetic cap.
As mentioned, the fragrance has that famous Eros DNA that pretty much everyone knows or has smelled at some point. Here it is a bit more elegant and mature, leaning towards Najim, if we can trust the community. The spice from nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom is really nice and doesn’t come on too strong. With the mandarin, there’s also a wonderful fruity component that I really like. The sweetness becomes a bit milder over time, and the spice also softens a bit, becoming beautifully smooth with sage and geranium. The base is quite warm with amber-labdanum, and a subtle note of incense comes through without being too smoky. Additionally, there’s a light woody note that provides a mild drydown. Overall, everything is very rounded, and after hour 2, this fragrance becomes nicely mild and warm. A great choice for autumn and mild days.
The performance is decent but not spectacular. You get a solid sillage that becomes milder over time, and the longevity should be around 8 hours.

Overall, a great release that offers a wonderful sweet-spicy mix with a very gentle drydown. Those who do not like fragrances like Eros can skip this test.

Sweetness by the Campfire
Right from the start: Eros Najim is not in the collection, nor as a sample. Therefore, I have no direct comparison here, only to a sample of Eros EDP.
And that's where it starts...I read in the statements something about the Eros DNA. So: I sprayed both directly on my hands and checked.
Indeed, in the first two minutes, the mandarin is what unites them. However, the Qaed is also directly supported by cardamom and cinnamon for more spice, while in Eros EDP, lemon and mint veer towards freshness.

And that's about it. After three or four minutes (admittedly, at around 24 degrees right now), the mandarin is quite far in the background and the similarities to the "classic" Eros DNA are gone, now the Qaed continues on its own.
From the very beginning, there is incense present, giving it an oriental touch without the result becoming heavy or oppressive, remaining rather airy and moderately fresh.
Oh yes: the closer you sniff to the skin, the smokier it gets. It needs a bit of air to breathe.

I'm sitting at the keyboard and it's wafting around my nose from 30cm away. The result is...nice.
I'm lacking a bit of the technical vocabulary, so here’s a picture from my mind. Please, you're welcome:
An evening by the campfire, in mid to late spring or early autumn. Occasionally, the wind carries a bit of smoke over, and someone has come up with the idea of making stick bread and marshmallows. The sweetness of the dough (and the caramelization of the sugar) mixes in, and somewhere near a flower bed, there’s a bowl of fruit salad with a good portion of fresh mandarin.
Later, everyone moves closer to the embers, the smoke increases a bit, the fresh fruits have been consumed, the flowers have fallen asleep, only the one guy with five marshmallows on a stick hasn’t had enough and adds more sugar. Someone fetches warm blankets.

All in all, a lovely scent for spring and autumn. A bit too powerful for summer, perhaps a tad too weak for winter.

The presentation: The packaging is stylish but simple. Horse, name, concentration. The bottle is also stylish, but aaaaand processed according to the price, meaning you can see the "seam" of the mold quite clearly. But that’s okay.
Plus point: Cap with "bouncing magnet".
Minus point: my goodness, they could have squeezed the "Untamed" somewhere too.

In summary, for the price, you really can’t go wrong. The scent is pleasant, doesn’t clash, won’t really upset anyone, but also won’t scare anyone away. You’d like to take a sniff of it every now and then and enjoy it when the wind carries a cloud past.

Перший день, це досить різкий запах коноплі і дерева, на старті трохи мандарина, я не думаю, що мецерація допоможе, піраміда виглядала сексі

This interpretation definitely trumps the original. Sweet resinous florals with a spicy vetiver base.

Refreshing yet slightly spicy spring-summer scent. Uncomplicated, dynamic, and lively. Inspired by Eros Najim.

Spicy-smoky Eros DNA. Deep, you could say masculine. A very successful flanker. P/L genius, H/S very good.

I don't know Najim, but it doesn't smell much different from the regular Eros. I expected it to be more oriental...
sillage isn't that special...

best interpretation of the Eros DNA, no longer stuffy and youthful but mature and masculine, could also pass as an elixir

For me, it's more of a men's scent than unisex, but I still find it very beautiful. Oriental-spicy, not too sweet, pleasantly soft and warm.
