It's so green when Malone's flowers bloom

Green, sooo GREEN that I involuntarily think briefly of woodruff soda...

But it is the lush green lawn, with clover, arugula, dandelions, daisies, cress (and woodruff) in between, that has just been mowed.

If you, like me, have woodruff in your garden, you know that the plant itself has a slightly bitter scent - no trace of the sweetness that hits you in soda or jelly!
In between, I really think I can smell the real woodruff - the one from the garden - again and again...
(the initial "soda" effect was quite short-lived)
But the fact that I often smell something that isn't there is nothing new... ‍️
Maybe it's also due to the review of Löwenherz in front of me, because my meadow is from our allotment garden in my childhood in the 70s - and there was also woodruff on the edge...
(which is why I absolutely had to have woodruff in my garden ...)

An unexcited green composition, as green (I believe) as it can almost get.

I really like the scent, unfortunately too late, as it is probably discontinued, like many beautiful Malone fragrances.

Ah, woodruff, I hadn't thought of that. Your nose surely isn't deceiving you. I find pyramids are usually just rough guidelines. I experienced it as GREEN in the truest sense. At the same time, it was delicate and transparent. Everything felt freshly cut, moist, and juicy.

I'm not really a fan of this jelly-like woodruff either. I also prefer the real one in the garden.

@Pollita Sorry, I realize I wasn't very clear, I've already corrected it above...
I do catch a whiff of the real woodruff - the one from the garden - every now and then 😊
(the initial "fizzy" effect faded pretty quickly)
But that's not listed, and it seems like no one else has noticed it 🤷🏼‍♀️
My nose seems to play tricks on me from time to time... 😳😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh, what a shame that it was discontinued, it sounded great...
