Would you like another glass of "Kir Royal"?

"Wild Fig & Cassis" reminds me of sparkling women's laughter on a warm summer evening. Not loud and intrusive, but simply cheerful - perhaps after a glass of "Kir Royal" too many. But what does that matter?

This fragrance from Jo Malone is also very present; definitely not for shy women who like to hide or for "fragrance beginners." For them, it's: "Hands off!"

For so-called "layering," "Wild Fig & Cassis" is not suitable. Quite the opposite of many other scents from this company.
This one already brings all its layers with it: the fresh scent of grass, ripe cherries, and of course blackcurrant - sweet yet tart!
This "layer" complements the floral component - cheerful, and yes, a bit cheeky: cyclamen, hyacinth, and jasmine conquer the pine (what's it doing here?).
And thus, "Wild Fig & Cassis" becomes a bit more sophisticated - no longer just bouncing and jumping. The phase of "fruit candy" is over.
Amber, musk, patchouli - my Darling! - and cedar: the previously young, playful girl is now becoming a woman!
And immediately plays skillfully in the circle of the greats - astonishing!

It's quite surprising how this scent of youthful fresh innocence almost develops into a vamp.
And just as surprising: it stays on the skin for a few hours!

So, "Wild Fig & Cassis" is a seductive summer fragrance: for airy summer dresses, lots of tanned skin, the right little shoes - and perhaps "A glass of 'Kir Royal,' Madame?"

Somehow I'm at odds with the fig in the scent; something about it doesn't sit well with me, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
