Lime juice for the skin
My first association when spraying it on in the store was actually the lime juice from my favorite Thai restaurant around the corner. Very fresh, very citrusy with a hint of cane sugar. I'm not a big fan of sweet or gourmand scents, they don't usually develop as nicely on me as they do on many others. For this reason, I was very pleased with the fresh recommendation from the lady in the Jo Malone store.
I was catapulted straight into a summer evening by the sea, when the air cools down a little but that shimmer is still there. Yuzu is very strong at first, but never gets that, sorry for the somewhat unsavory comparison, toilet-stone vibe. After about half an hour, a pleasant warmth develops under the freshness, which I can only compare to the cane sugar from my Lime Juice. A really great, light and fresh fragrance that doesn't get on my nerves and is still easily perceptible on my skin even after 5 hours, transporting me straight to summer and the water. Simply great.
