Worth its weight in gold
When I read the title Lavish, I immediately thought of my housewife shortcomings - which also include "mopping."
Phonetically, it sounds to me like "La Wisch."
And I can't help but smile at a memory from my time in Frankfurt.
My apartment there seemed a bit expensive, but it was nice and located right in the city center.
So I was taken aback when I was woken up by an energetic "Hello!" at 10 o'clock in the morning.
Seconds later, a lady with cleaning supplies stood by my bed and introduced herself as Mrs. S, who would come EVERY weekday at 10 o'clock to clean.
It dawned on me why the rent was so high - but I was very pleased.
Mrs. S cleaned vigorously and was also open to a chat after her work was done.
I was surrounded by a sparkling home, and I also had company.
Mrs. S was worth her weight in gold.
Now, back to Lavish, which has nothing to do with cleaning products - but rightly carries the addition of Gold.
LEO has informed and taught me that Lavish means "generous."
And that is the crux of the matter.
The ingredients reach me in an exceedingly generous manner - adorning the fragrance without overwhelming it.
A mild, flattering oriental scent that feels rich yet not dark.
The bergamot starts off lively - and the raspberry is sweet and soft.
Jasmine and rose gently join in - and you feel embraced and secure.
Vanilla and tonka round off the scent with an oriental touch - and the oakmoss and cedar provide a delicate, herbaceous background.
Since Lavish is not heavy, it can be worn at any time of the day.
Its generosity is certainly charming and heartwarming.
