Go is okay ... but at least without any complaints! ;-)
I have tested numerous fragrances lately. This one is, in my opinion (fitting to the name), a "go-to". Although I don't smell any ingredient excessively, I don't need to, especially after sorting out some "stinkers", including the highly rated "Joop Nightflight". But it may be that I got the reformulated version, if not even a counterfeit. I guess I'll never find out! ;-)
As for "Joop Go", there is nothing that bothers me, but it also doesn't blow me away. I don't have to "fight" against the scent, especially since it is very affordable. It is not overly sweet or annoying ... but unfortunately also completely boring. I felt the same way about "Joop Thrill", which is a bit sweeter. Both fragrances are unbeatable in their harmlessness. It's like getting a bag of gummy bears and in the end probably only realizing because of the color: "I like the green ones the best!"
In general, I appreciate the light sweetness that comes with a fruity freshness. I find rhubarb as an ingredient intriguing (I've never read about it anywhere), but hardly anything reminds me of the sour plant we had in our garden during my childhood. What else should I ramble on about (rhubarb, rhubarb ...)? "Go" can go ... to where the pepper grows, where they could have added this scent in the top note just as easily as a bit more wood in the base.
