Granny, who makes you feel young; or: looks good on the outside, bad on the inside
I got to know Couture Couture when a perfume saleswoman handed me a sample of it almost two years ago.
This scent confused me from the very beginning: on one hand, I found it very youthful, girlish, and on the other hand, mature. Similar to a classic Chanel bag, which also looks great on young women.
I found the contradiction of "youthfulness-maturity" intriguing and regularly sniffed the sample. Because I liked the trophy-shaped bottle, I ordered a 100ml bottle, and that’s where the fascination ended: What smelled confusing yet interesting in the vial transformed into something elderly and yet bubblegum-tacky-annoying: like a shaky, lifted Texan woman with loud makeup. Still, I will keep CC; the bottle alone is worth it.
CC slightly reminds me of the much prettier Monoï. I would bet that there are Tiaré flowers in it.

"Looks great on the outside, but not on the inside" - that hits the nail on the head. At first, it just smells like alcohol to me, then after 10 minutes it smells like flowers, and then it just turns musty and barely there... :( Perfect description (2nd paragraph) - little trophy ;o)
