For me it is a very nice, pleasant, clean, non-violent scent and I can smell it all day long.
It is definitely for spring/summer, but I can imagine it as a year-round scent as well. You can feel the saltiness at the beginning, but as the day goes on, it fades away and the sweetness of the vanilla comes to the surface (although it is really very light).
I can imagine it on both - men and women - a truly unisex scent.
I must point out - It didn't smell good on me a couple of times and after a few hours it became "bitter". BUT after more research I came to the conclusion that it happened because I didn't apply body lotion the night before.. When my skin is well hydrated, this doesn't happen.
Otherwise, I rate the scent very positively and I will definitely buy it again.
