The Most Expensive Strawberry in the World (Probably)
Bright pink strawberry ice cream, dusted with a generous amount of vanilla sugar: This is how I would briefly describe Miami Shake.
Immediately, I was reminded of the strawberry body butter from The Body Shop.
I must admit that I was surprised by the mostly negative reviews. Yes, the scent is kept simple, and yes, the sillage and longevity could - no, should - be significantly better for this price. But I believe this perfume delivers what its fragrance pyramid promises: a sweet, synthetic strawberry scent with a creamy character.
The strawberry is always present, from start to finish. Soon, vanilla with a hint of coconut joins in the background, making the scent softer and creamier. I don’t detect any musk, though.
A major point of criticism is the sillage and longevity. After just a few minutes, the scent becomes very close to the skin, which I find inappropriate for the high price.
