Badiah Gold - the transformation into a must-have
I received a small vial of Badiah Gold (for women) through Parfumo.
Upon the first spray, this fragrance strongly reminded me of Oud Royal by Armani Privé; slightly bitter, somewhat masculine, a softly developing balsamic-creamy nuance, briefly flickering and very subtle, I perceive a bitter pinch.
I can't detect any fruity notes.
I think: rather a men's fragrance or unisex.
After 15 - 20 minutes, the rose makes itself known, I am now reminded of Oud Ispahan by Dior in a muted form, still too bitter and masculine for my scent perception.
That’s probably it for me, the small vial I already own is sufficient
After about another 20 - 30 minutes, I sniff again, sniff and sniff again, I don’t want to stop - what is happening now?
I find the scent - I can't put it into words - enchanting-
Soft, warm, feminine, balsamic-creamy, - no longer bitter, just slightly sweet.
The fragrance reminds me of AmberStar in a gentle, subtle version,
According to my scent perception, there are no fruity notes and hardly any rose.
I will own this fragrance someday. (Souvenir from Dubai vacationers)
The occasion to wear it is simply the desire to have it around me and to perceive it whenever I feel like it; I don’t need a specific season or a specific hour of the day for that.
BG is very comforting, wrapped in a gentle fragrant cloud, has something calming, not intrusive, quiet; sillage and longevity are rather subtle.
I look forward to spraying it in the summer at high temperatures and then experiencing its development on sun-warmed skin
One more note:
It has transformed like Angelique Noire, which also fully transforms after about 40/50 minutes. However, this does not mean that Badiah Gold has any similarity with AN. I only mean the comparison in terms of timing and the change of the fragrance.
