Great Peach Scent with a Strong Spice

A new review of one of my favorite brands on the market: Kajal. This brand from Paris particularly appeals to me, and especially the fruity notes are always very well executed. After "Kajal Homme | Kajal," this II offers another great daytime fragrance that could already be described as an all-rounder and everyday scent. In Kajal's range, there are much bigger attention-grabbers that are really seductive with their fruity DNA and are also outstanding. What I like about these two Hommes is the mix where several facets are combined, making them great for everyday wear due to these multifaceted notes. Even though this one is quite pleasing, I wouldn't recommend a blind buy here, as this is quite a wild mix that some might not find so harmonious. I like the DNA of Homme II, which has no fragrance twin that comes close. Stylistically, this is a scent that could be compared to "DesirToxic | M. Micallef." It has little to do with the first part "Kajal Homme | Kajal." Similar to the "Original," it possesses a wild mix with many angles and edges.

Price-wise, this brand is reasonable, as you can always find some good offers in various shops. The MSRP of over €200 would be way too high for me for this. The packaging is a simple box that is always nice to look at. Even more beautiful are the bottles, which are absolutely stunning. Here, they shine in a bronze tone. The patterns and the cap are also absolutely dreamy.
With this EdP, you get a scent that actually features peach in the lead role. At first, it sounds very unisex or, for some, a bit feminine, but it is not. Especially since a noble and strong spice always resonates and has created a great everyday note from the DNA. It is a wonderful mix of fresh fruity notes, spice, a bit of wood, and a not too strong sweetness. Peach can be sensed; otherwise, this is a great mix that is wild, and many notes do not stand out "naked" as the notes are well intertwined. The woody notes of cedar and sandalwood are also not lacking and provide this pleasant woody background. Additionally, many classic notes are at work that contribute to this great everyday DNA: lavender, a bit of sage, patchouli, citrus, and also some warm amber. The base becomes very soft with a slightly mossy tone and wood, musk, and a subtle sweetness. Similar to the Kajal Homme, it is a wild mix that does not dictate a clear note or style. But it is already an interesting mix that will work well in everyday life.
Performance is in the solid range. Of course, this brand has significantly better ones, but for a daytime scent in this style, Homme II does its job well. Sillage is very solid, and the first hours are very pleasantly radiating. Even later on, it remains quite good. Longevity should be somewhere between 8 and 10 hours.

Overall, a great everyday scent with a wild fruity-spicy mix. I like it a lot and it is unique as it stands out a bit from the common styles for everyday wear. One should test it before buying, as it might be too unharmonious for some. I like this wonderful spice with this fruity peach note. Thumbs up once again for this great brand.
