Spicy peach shampoo
Dear Peach Friends,
today it's about Kajal Homme II. A fragrance that I had to have according to the first descriptions, because I'm looking after the rather solid Kirke and Erba Pura a really good peach fragrance that is more suitable for men. So I participated with joy in the sharing and ordered me immediately 5ml for an extensive test.
Kajal Homme II starts fruity-green and goes slightly in the direction of H24-Hermes, even if only for a short time. The green notes come here not at all old-fashioned, but in the interplay with the tangerine rather modern and restrained over. In the background, a peach note in oriental garb already announces itself, which I like very much. Up to this point, the fragrance is very promising and ranks in the top 10 of everything I have tested so far. Unfortunately.....es does not remain so.
One or the other Parfumo complains about the increasing sweetness and synthetics. I for my part join conditionally. Although the fragrance is sweeter, but by no means too sweet, even if the prelude was clearly more promising. I am, on the other hand, particularly bothered by the very synthetic musk note that seems to increasingly take over the fragrance. The green-oriental peach turns into slightly spicy peach shampoo. This does not ruin the fragrance as a whole, no, I still like it quite well, but this makes the promising prelude fade and reduces my willingness to pay just under 200€ for the bottle.
The current reviews in terms of durability and sillage I can also only partially understand. At best, the fragrance lasts just under 7 hours on my skin, which is fine by my criteria, but neither really solid nor good. The sillage is quite present within the first 90-120 minutes, but then subsides increasingly skin deep. I would compare the sillage to Club de Nuit Intense Man edP. Lets itself be seen, is also still there if one does not expect it, but fills no rooms or remains extremely present over hours.
The bottle is chic, no question. The sprayer I can not evaluate, but I like the lid quite well. Too bad that the bottle is not visible, because that is always a minus point with me.
Otherwise, I would like to recommend Kajal Homme II to all perfumos who are looking for an oriental peach that is extraordinary and yet easy to like, as well as to all who are not too bothered by shampooed musk and still spend a lot of money on a fragrance. My peach of choice probably won't be Kajal Homme II. For tips and suggestions in this direction, I am but very grateful to you!
As always, thanks for reading!
