One of my absolute favorites....

I love this scent.....lime wonderfully fresh and fruity with sweet vanilla.....a true gourmet cocktail....I always try to order it on eBay and was lucky to snag it again this time.....for me, a wonderful and very successful fragrance by M.Asam!!!

What it says is what it is - or in other words, a "summer gourmand"?

In the Eau de Parfum "Limette Vanille" by M. Asam, there is indeed only what it says on the label. There is no significant scent development to be recognized. However, these two components form a very successful symbiosis for my nose. The typical citrus note of the lime is gently rounded off by vanilla, and I would describe it as "really delicious." The scent smells like a delicious fruity dessert, without being overly sweet. The vanilla gives the lime a depth and warmth that citrus scents usually lack, and therefore are often described by noses that do not particularly like this fragrance family as resembling toilet cleaner. This is absolutely not the case here. "Limette Vanille" is, for me, a summer scent that I would personally wear on overcast days. At around 30 degrees, it would be too much for me, but I can only tolerate extremely light fragrances anyway. However, I can easily imagine it as the perfect summer scent, even in great heat, for those who otherwise love heavy fragrances and are looking for something light at 30 degrees and above, which should not be too citrusy, aquatic, or floral.

Can this scent really be called a gourmand scent? Perhaps I am stretching it too far. But since I would gladly indulge in a dessert that tastes like this scent smells, I will just say it. The vanilla makes all the difference.
