I was sure I was going to love this perfume. Sweet, amber, warm spicy? Sign me up please! Unfortunately it wasn't the case. On my skin, the tobacco leaf, sour cherry, chocolate, agarwood and patchouli mixed together to form this almost impenetrable wall of spicy and earthy (almost rancid) smell. I'm not a big fan of tobacco and cherry smell, but I though they'd dissipate after a few minutes. It was unfortunately not the case. The patchouli seemed to bind with them and add earthiness to the scent, but it did nothing to save it. These notes were so overwhelming, they never left any space for the others to come through.
I find that Invite Only Amber shares the same DNA as Lovefest Burning Cherry and Vanilla Royale SUgared Patchouli. All three of them was this warm amber and spicy scent to it. I'm kind of sad my skin didn't vibe well with this one.
