The initial enthusiasm turned into aversion
Yesterday, I tested two fragrances, first AmorAmor by Cacharel on my left wrist, then Kenzo Amour directly on my neck. Floating on clouds and in fragrance heaven, I left the perfume store. What an outstanding scent this Kenzo Amour is, I thought to myself, while I also detected similarities (the flattering vanilla note) to Hypnotic Poison.
I was pleased to note the very good longevity. Time and again, the warm, creamy vanilla scent wafted up to my nose.
However, as the evening progressed, I unfortunately began to feel a slight nausea. So much so that I had to scrub it off my neck with a lot of soap. This is not going to work out between us after all, I am disappointed.

I feel the same way about Hypnotic Poison, by the way. When I reach its base, I also feel a slight nausea.

I can understand the nausea. I can't handle the smell either, it's just not my direction anymore. It lacks that special something m.M.n.

I always experience that with these artificial wood notes, like with Cashmeran/cashmere wood. In this case, it could be due to the "Thanaka wood."

Well, that unfortunately happens. Consolation prize. :)
