A creamy milk and incense blend

Kenzo Amour is really lovely, beautiful in fact.

I had actually imagined something stronger, more bold and heavy as Kenzo's interpretation of love, however this fragrance is flawless. Delicate and predominantly powdery, its subtlety is very likable.

I am a big fan of powdery fragrances as of late, especially powdery vanilla scents. There is something very feminine and comforting about them. Kenzo Amour's softness is pleasantly unobtrusive to both the wearer and the people around you.

While the vanilla and musk really do feature in this fragrance, other detectable notes, such as frangipani and Japanese cherry blossom, gives Kenzo Amour a somewhat exotic feel.

The overall result can be described as creamy and alluring. I disagree that this is just baby powder, I think it has far more substance than that. I really enjoyed wearing Kenzo Amour and I thought the lasting strength was simply outstanding. Another great Kenzo offering in my opinion.

Lemon rice pudding

Lemon rice pudding. Or sago. With a vanillic vibe. Steaming tea. chocolate. Yes, cherries, in white chocolate. I can see that it might be kind of comforting but not something I want to smell like. Not even something I would want to eat.

I am in love! This is clean, powdery vanilla perfection

This smells like a dream to me. It's everything I want from an everyday perfume. It's sweet and vanilla-y, and powdery in a way that is not dusty, it's powdery because of the rice. It is not gourmand though, it has a very clean smell, to the verge of being soapy. Smells like a beautiful body cream: snuggly, sexy, airy, and sweet, but in a perfume form.

It has everything I like about powdery vanilla scents when executed correctly. It is pure, innocent, and clean but also sweet and very sexy.

Great Longevity and decent sillage, at least on me. The only thing is, give it 5-10 seconds, because the first spay is for some reason, very sharp and synthetic. But after some seconds when all the alcohol is gone, it's DIVINE.

Btw, in no way shape or form, this is similar to Hypnotic Poison. I have HP, I really like HP, and I can see someone liking both of them, but HP is way more, not obnoxious exactly, more in your face. HP is more of a night perfume and I think it's way more polarizing than this one. But if you like HP, and want a day alternative, I would say give it a shot.

I used to love this perfume few years ago.
It is a powdery,sweet,spicy fragrance.
The smell of rice cooking on the top is so comfy.
Then comes a soapy heliotrope,and musc Wich give a nice cloudy smell.
The dry down is spicy woody ,a little smoky and the sweetness of the vanilla is light here.
Very nice smell, unusual at the top.
Worth it if you like original spicy powdery frag.
I think.again very original one when it came out.but still is...

A rather fresh vanilla frag

I love eau de perfumes and eau de toilettes with vanilla. Usually with vanilla frags, the initial spray is not that pleasing and comes rather through after it settles into a divine, smooth, round fragrance. With Kenzo Amour however there was no waiting for a wonderful dry down, it was right up my alley right from the get go. The freshness comes through a bit later, but doesn't take away from the yummy vanilla. I do not get too much floral, but that is normal for me. When I detect it, it's usually more than I ask for. I guess my nose can only detect real flower bombs, but otherwise I recognize floral aromas just as part of the composition, not so much something I can pinpoint, unless it is overwhelming me. This is a very nice fragrance, and I am pleased I gave it a try.
