Slightly fresh and aquatic but unique
Interesting and unique fragrance. One of the least fresh freshies and least aquatic aquatics I've tried. The sea and fruity notes are the first thing to disappear after the opening. After dry down, mainly notice vetiver and sandalwood with a subtle touch of fig. The combo of vetiver and sandalwood emphasizes the vetiver in that the resulting scent tends to be on the sharper, slightly sour side. I think that's where people are getting a pickle vibe. I like the fragrance from the opening to the dry down - little to no sweetness, masculine and is pretty unique. Not just another freshie and not just another wood scent. Kenzo would also work any time of the year.
Performance is quite good. Am going on 10 + hours and still have a strong skin scent. Sillage was powerful for the first 2 hours. Cool bamboo bottle. Because of the shape, the large size is tall and can be a problem depending on how you store your fragrances.
If you are expecting another blue aquatic, better sample Kenzo Intense before buying a full bottle.

Just another reminder of how differently people perceive scents. It is about 35°C today and over 80% humidity though so that probably affects the behaviour.
Funnily enough, I still agree with you on everything except the notes.
Probably not good enough for me to buy a bottle, but it might be a good hot weather scent for someone who doesn’t like citrus (or blue scents in general).
