The Scent .. the Sillage .. the Wow Factor
Recently, I was with colleagues at an open-air bar high up with a view over Stuttgart.
Suddenly, an incredibly good expensive scent wafted into our noses, and we looked at each other simultaneously and knew we had to track it down.
But how, crowded with people yet always following our noses. Just recently, two young Arab-looking men dressed tastefully and expensively in cream and white (I know, side note :-D) walked past us.
We caught a whiff of iris root, powdery violet, an expensive white wood accord, and something with a milky touch, although I initially didn’t recognize the aquatic note. It smelled really elegant, expensive, and good.
I immediately thought of Roja, Xerjoff, or Boadicea, and I knew it, but couldn’t place it.
My colleague asked the two, and one of them mentioned it, and then it came back to me, Kenzo the blue one with the quirky cap.
One of my first fragrances back then, but it has since been reformulated and there are countless flankers.
At Douglas, there was only the Intense, EdP, and EdT. Yes, all nice but the final touch was missing - but finally, I found it in him, Santal - this wood-violet-milk note.
Men, definitely try it or even the unisex women :-)

Should we draw any conclusions from that???
BTW: You can't smell "expensive"!
Because: expensive isn't always good!! ;-)
When you're young, you just can't handle well-meaning advice...
Better to respond aggressively, right!?
But maybe my conclusion is actually correct!?
Let's leave it at that!!! And goodbye!
