A winter fairy tale

Short review at the bottom by⬇
When I smelled it for the first time, my sense of smell was completely distorted and I only admired the elegant bottle, which seemed to be modeled on a cognac glass.
The second time I tested it, it looked like this:
I'm sitting in the back seat of the station wagon, 99 Luftballons is playing at top volume, I'm admiring the top speeds of the sports cars in my quartet for the umpteenth time and wondering when we'll finally get off the highway - bang - I must have fallen asleep. At Dad's request, I get out of the car and run to the front door, pressing the doorbell in anticipation.
Grandpa opens the door, gives me a warm hug and puts my head against his round belly in an attempt to embrace him completely.
"Hello sweeties!"
It's Grandma and she's got her baking glove on... I know what's coming and it's one of the main reasons why this 4-hour drive is worth it every time - at least in winter.
"Apple pie is ready, my dears," she says later, as we all sit down at the table, but I've been aware of the aroma of the cozy, warm pastry wafting from the oven through the kitchen and living room to the dining table for a long time - since I sat down, to be precise - no, actually, since I walked in.
As I plunge onto my piece, which stands on the oak table in front of me, I also take in its smell, as well as that of the leather cover of my executive chair at the head of the table, which I sink into slightly.
The cinnamon and sugar garnish of the cake, which is enriched with real vanilla pods from Madagascar as well as vanilla sugar from Dr Oetker and natural vanilla flavoring, smells just as wonderful and I have to wrinkle my nose because I have inhaled so deeply that I have got some cinnamon in my nose, but this will not cause me any further difficulties when I eat the second piece, as they will gradually melt away.
Grandpa isn't an alcoholic, which is why he doesn't drink cognac at 3pm, but it still smells of cognac in here - I'll find out why later when Grandma reveals that dear Falko, the Dalmatian who also likes to mess with food, had knocked over the cupboard with the spirits beforehand, which is why the table was now soaked with cognac.

~~~~~End~~~~~
For me, Angel's Share is a more than welcome trip back to my childhood and the cooler months of the year, when I like to indulge in a delicious apple pie. I like to spray it in my suitcase to feel the nostalgia on business trips. The fragrance lasts well and for a long time, with a pleasantly strong sillage and a beautiful fragrance gradient, in which sometimes more and sometimes less of the cognac can be smelled.
The flacon should not be neglected in the evaluation, as it looks quite charming, but for me it is of secondary importance.
