Polly-Esther dances

What concerns me most about this fragrance, which I would like to call an interesting green, is actually its name. Where is it after sunset? What is it doing there, how and why? Can't I take a joke?

Over the last few years, I've fished the bottle out of its box in the cellar time and time again, hoping that I'll be able to upgrade it to the upper floors and display it, but above all wear it, because of its quite cute appearance.
I'm not warming to it, why is that? I love green fragrances. And it is green. It alternates between a lively, fruity green and a powdery green. That's the nice part. Perhaps limited by the lychee, which gets on my nerves in the fruity part.
And then there's always that one nasty note in between. One that I could never really grasp, not really just shower gel boredom or floral billets... it's more annoying, it disturbs me, it would make me feel insecure, slightly acidic, it PĂ–BELT!

Then I watch Oedipussi for the umpteenth time, sing along to the polyester song and the penny drops (well...it dropped...because it was last weekend) and heavy, dried up lumps of Rexona fall out of my shirt with relief:
This nasty note is an hours-old floral musk deodorant overkill from early morning, snuggled in sweaty armpits under a polyester blouse on the dance floor of an after-work party. Woman X dances herself free. This odeur is part of life, it just happens......... and it triggers me!

THERE IT IS... the "Fun Thing After Sunset"... i never classified the fragrance as an evening or even a night out scent, more like feeding ducks in the city park in the afternoon, I had no idea.

Next to me lies a tissue, sprinkled with funny Polly and oozing away. As I write this, I am now quite sure that I still find the scent interesting, but will never wear it again.

Mr. Pisanelli, Mr. Pisanelli.... where is the man with the pygmy goat?
