Ginger, Green Tea, and Marshmallow: A Matcha Made in Heaven
I wanted a vanilla gourmand that wasn't sickly sweet and wouldn't make me smell like a plate of frosted cupcakes, and Kilian Princess fits the bill. I would've settled for something more mediocre, but the ginger and matcha notes in this add the perfect amount of complexity and intrigue. That the vanilla comes through a marshmallow note is also quite delicious.
I just found the scent this January and it immediately became my go-to scent for the rest of winter. Hopefully it still fits me well enough that I want to wear it for many winters to come!
My only gripe is the bottle. It doesn't match the scent at all and I find it ugly, which is why I only got a travel spray for now. I'm sure the name/bottle is supposed to be making some kind of a statement, but I just want to smell nice, I don't need my perfume to reiterate that I'm fine without a man or whatever. Kinda feels insulting.
