Ginger tea latte

Cringe of the full name aside, I love this perfume. It's both cozy and refreshing.

At first spray, you can pick up on all of the notes: the freshness of the green tea, the sweetness of the marshmallow. But, without being overpowering, the strongest of the three is the ginger—it's citrusy and fizzy with a bit of warm spice. Overall, lovely and smells like a warm tea latte.

After about two hours, the green tea begins to fade for me, leaving behind the ginger and marshmallow for the remainder of the wear. This lasted for about 7 hours on me and the sillage was moderate.

This perfume strongly reminds me of Commodity's Milk (expressive) with the marshmallow and its creamy, almost lactonic, quality; as well as Being Frenshe's Moon Milk—also creamy and sweet with warm spice.

My wedding fragrance!

It might go without saying that this perfume holds a very special place in my heart. Originally what attracted me to this fragrance was the name. It sounded very kitschy, a little funny, and inspired me enough to give it a try. Upon first sniff it was a very pleasant ginger tea with a fluffy quality to it. As it dried down on my skin it began to transform into a "quiet" marshmallow perfume, subtly sweet, and the greenness balances out the sugariness overall. Creamy marshmallow, warm ginger, and fresh green tea in an incredible combination. Initially testing this out I would say it lasted a good 5 - 6 hours on my skin in warm weather. This is the type of fragrance that likes to stick to your skin in a small scent bubble.

For Christmas, I was gifted this perfume from my mom and I was overjoyed to receive it. It took a month of deliberation if this was the fragrance I wanted to use for my wedding day and I avoided using it at all until it was time. Ultimately the deciding factor came down simply to the name; it was ironic enough for me to decide this was the one to use. I have no regrets about it. When January rolled around and it was time to use it for my wedding, it felt like the perfect and "right" choice, much like finding the wedding dress made for you.

Now that I've moved into colder weather I've noticed some differences in performance as well as the way it smells. The longevity increased, giving me around 6 - 7 hours of wear time, and I've noticed the projection has improved too. In the chilly months, I feel like the sweetness in this fragrance is much more apparent. It's in the same vein of being light enough and not cloying, although the marshmallow goodness stands out amongst the other notes on my skin. Sweet, warm, like a fluffy hug, perfect for all seasons and all occasions, even your most special ones.

Princess is a snooze, missing the marshmallow

Why did I buy this? I got caught up in the hype, sadly. I did get a sample first, and enjoyed it. My full bottle, even thought I've let it sit for a few months, is nothing special. It's pleasant and inoffensive, but I can't detect the much-hyped marshmallow scent. It just smells lightly sweet, with a faint whisper of green tea. It's pricey, and I should have spent my money on something more unique and exciting. Princess isn't bad, but it's nothing special either. Maybe I'll use it as a bedtime scent.

Creamy, milky, sweet green tea love!

Forget the cheesy name, this is a beautiful fragrance! I would almost not have tried because the marketing for this line is so cringey, now I'm glad I overcame my prejudice and found something I love and wear often. This is relatively simple and linear, but gorgeous and unique.

Princess is a very sweet gourmand, a fluffy cloud of vanilla and marshmallows. I think the sweetness is very smooth here. The green tea really shines on my skin and lends freshness to the composition, it contrasts so nicely with the sweetness. I can smell lemon, ginger and jasmine too, but only as very slight accents. The overall effect is an olfactory equivalent to a matcha latte with vanilla whipped cream or those green tea cheesecake drinks.

Princess can easily be worn in the daytime as it's soft and fluffy and not loud or especially sexy, but it has a nice creamy texture and doesn't come across as thin or weak.

I saw many people online compare this to other sweet fragrances, but I don't think Princess is that close to any of them. Especially not to Pink Sugar, I actually think these two are on the opposite ends of the feminine gourmand spectrum.

Another love

What a gorgeous fragrance. This is an instant love for me. Absolutely beautiful. I get the marshmallow and matcha. I just wish this scent was much stronger. My bottle will be used up so fast, because I can’t get enough of this. It leaves such a beautiful scent bubble around you. This is one I’ll repurchase over and over. I love that the bottles are refillable as well. 10/10 for me!
