When I first smelled Knize Ten on a test strip, it made my stomach turn. I am a non-smoker, and this scent of a cold ashtray, as has been mentioned several times here, changes very little on paper.
On the skin, it is much better. Once the initial ashtray scent has dissipated, the floral heart notes emerge slightly, only to make way for a lot of leather in the end.
A very masculine fragrance! I understand well why many commentators on this site are very enthusiastic. This Eau de Toilette is unmistakably male. Feminine notes are truly nowhere to be found here.
I prefer the woody and powdery notes more. This is too much testosterone for me all at once. However, that doesn’t have to be a bad thing in certain situations!
