I love a fig scent
I am a simple woman: give me a fig I'll eat it, give me a fig note and I'll like it. I literally cannot remember a perfume with a fig note that I dislike. This one is awfully similar to Philosykos by Diptyque in my opinion, which I love.(Surprise!)
Both Avgoustos and Philosykos are realistic, juicy figs. The difference to me is, Avgoustos reminds me of the fig itself, it's a bowl of fresh figs, unwashed, straight from my grandmother's tree. Philosykos is not just the fruit but the whole tree: bark and milk and leaves and all. It's the memory of sitting on that wooden swing under my grandmother's tree.
The longevity is abysmal in my opinion. But it is such a lovely scent and I paid 8 euros for the travel version, so I am okay with reapplying throughout the day.
