Incense/leather, but much more
I came across this fragrance for the first time in the Pafory advent calendar. Normally I often disdained the notes of leather and incense, but as I had planned to test every calendar fragrance, I put it on my skin. The opening is quite an announcement: a full load of incense in a leather coat. I was skeptical at first, but wanted to keep an open mind and went out into the cold with the dog. There, the fragrance underwent a transformation. The orange kept reappearing and now and then green cypress and coriander stood out. Later it becomes warm and woody with amber, cashmere, vetiver and a hint of oud. Overall, a very versatile fragrance that is definitely much better than its rating here. I bought the 8ml directly from Pafory as part of my subscription and the bottle will probably follow. My wife says every time she smells me wearing the fragrance that it reminds her of her Amoral. For me, however, it is the "lighter", warmer version of this one. H/S above average.
