The Coast of Love Lies by the Mediterranean!
I hesitated for a very long time before purchasing this fragrance. But since it is no longer available regularly, I bought an OVP bottle in France at a really good price. Because my coast of love lies by the Mediterranean! Undoubtedly!
The opening contains the complete fragrance collection of the Mediterranean: it smells of salt on sun-warmed skin, rubbed with sunscreen, it smells of immortelle, that creamy soft-scented coastal plant, of jasmine from the gardens near the coast, still faint and delicate, as it will only unfold its full scent at night, of sea and sea foam, of sand so hot that it is hardly bearable to walk on, and of pines that defy the hot sun. It smells of ripe, sweet (citrus) fruits, of wildflowers, and of wood.
After a rather loud but beautiful opening, Côte d'Amour becomes soft and creamy and melds directly with my skin.
This is a fragrance for summer, truly beautiful from 25° C upwards. Once the fragrance has developed - this happens within the first 15 minutes - it doesn’t change much anymore. After a few hours, it only becomes slightly woodier in the dry down.
Nowhere else does it smell like this, as it does by the Mediterranean. Nowhere else is the light as radiant as by the Mediterranean. Nowhere else do I feel the same as by the Mediterranean. Nowhere else is it as beautiful as by the Mediterranean.
My bottle is much more beautiful than the one pictured above, and the fragrance is a knockout. I really cannot understand why L'Artisan has taken this fragrance out of their range.
Anyone who likes this type of fragrance should - if offered - grab it immediately!
