All right! I should definitely rate more strictly again ;-) Sounds a bit like an old-school men's fragrance, maybe that's why it has that fougère vibe.
No, I wouldn't say it's reserved at all. I tend to rate strictly. 7 is good! The scent is just a bit too fougère for me, but in an abstract way that's hard to describe. There aren't any fougère ingredients in it, after all.
You can clearly see the delicate touch of Olivia Giacobetti at work here. A whisper of absinthe in the top note, an abstract, highly stylized summer forest at arm's length, and a fluttering five-spice powder just above the skin.
