Café Gourmand
Noir Exquis is not quite what it seems at first glance. In reality, it’s a half-gourmand, half-animal fragrance.
At first, it’s a true Café Gourmand, or even a breakfast spread: you’ll catch whiffs of coffee (light and pleasant), maple syrup, candied chestnuts, and orange juice. There’s also a "sweet wood" note, as if these treats were served in a wooden bowl.
But Noir Exquis has an animalic side too; as the sweet notes fade, this facet begins to emerge and take over.
It’s a very pretty perfume, but you absolutely need to test it on your skin to see if you can embrace all its layers.
