Besides my love for incense, I am also quickly captivated by patchouli.
However, my collecting passion is not awakened as quickly here as it is with the incense.
But after my first test of Patchouli Bohème, it was clear to me: I need to have this.
I have always had a penchant for expressive fragrances and I don't shy away from wearing them to work. Of course, I pay attention to the right dosage, because we all know, the dose makes the poison.
Anyone with a dislike for smoky, sweet, and earthy notes will not really connect with this creation, and patchouli purists will also not find much to enjoy here.
Patchouli Bohème starts with a very unusual head note that slightly resembles plastic. In contrast to Onlinehexchen, I find this opening very exciting and successful. A smoky undertone adds to the intrigue.
The head note lasts quite a long time before the fragrance gradually gains depth and sweetness.
The heart is dominated by patchouli, but the earthiness is softened mainly by the tobacco and leather.
The base note skillfully adds to the heart accord. Patchouli Bohème becomes even softer, more balsamic, and, in my opinion, a bit more chocolatey, yet without drifting into gourmand territory.
It will probably not surprise anyone when I say that both longevity and intensity are excellent. PB lasts on me easily for 24 hours, and even after a shower, the scent is still noticeable.
Anyone looking for an unusual patchouli fragrance should definitely give this creation a try; it could be worth it.
