I was able to "snag" a small bottle of In Rosa from you and finally received it yesterday, very eagerly.
At 32 degrees of summer heat, I first took off the cap and sniffed the sprayer ... it smells deliciously spicy, which I really like ...
Then I sprayed it ... the first impression is extremely raspberry-peppery, accompanied by a nice, fresh note, very intense, but surprisingly pleasant despite the warmth.
Then it becomes more floral and I think:
oh no, no flowers please for me, especially not in these temperatures ...
and I read disappointedly further in my book ...
but after a few minutes, the flowers become lighter, more peppery and fresher, wafting around my heated nose for a long time, and it starts to please me at first and then actually more and more,
later a bitter note joins in, now "In Rosa" has won me over!
Bitter, peppery flowers in this heat become a delightfully beautiful, new, and long-lasting nasal experience for me!
At the end of the day, "In Rosa" is just how I like it best:
bitter-spicy, chypre, and a bit animalistic, always accompanied by a hint of fresh pepper.
In Rosa is, for me, like most fragrances from La Perla, very perfectly composed.
The individual notes "play" very nicely together, none really stands out, they just complement each other wonderfully.
It may only be a summer fragrance for me!
As already mentioned, I like spicy, chypre, slightly animalistic fragrances and wear them in summer, which not everyone appreciates!
I like powdery fragrances, which often don't go over well in summer!
"In Rosa" was very well received by many people today.
I think it is this fresh pepper that is consistently present and takes the heaviness away from the flowers and the spice.
A colleague of mine put it quite charmingly:
"You smell like too much for me today, but somehow I quite like it!"
Definitely something for someone who likes "substantial" fragrances even in summer,
rather not for someone who prefers it light, cheerful, and "carefree".
For winter, I wholeheartedly recommend the pink "Bömbchen"!
