Let me start by saying I greatly dislike soapy scented perfumes yet, as My Day opens with an aldehydic zing, It's citrus and carrot seed top notes give just a touch of soapiness. The orris and florals at the mid, with an unexpected star anise, blend evenly into the iris-led powdery base. It leans vintage but with enough charm to keep it fresh. The beautiful bottle a perfect representation of the elegant perfume it holds.
