Sweet Hope La Rive

Every now and then, I stop by the drugstore to see if there’s something good at a low price. Unfortunately, I’ve rarely found anything worthwhile; most fragrances are of poor quality, headache-inducing candidates, too synthetic, too alcoholic, or have a longevity of just 2-3 hours. However, Sweet Hope is the best among drugstore fragrances for me. After a brief alcohol-heavy start, a beautifully soft, spicy, and cozy winter scent emerges, with enchanting almond and vanilla notes that simply make you feel good and brighten up the cold and dreary winter days.

I actually prefer the dupe to the original, as it doesn’t feel as heavy, deep, and old but is instead a bit less powerful yet softer and creamier. Unfortunately, the longevity isn’t very good, but for the price, it can easily be reapplied. I’m already looking forward to wintertime and cozy evenings with Sweet Hope. :)
