The light seduction

When I saw that there was a Hypnotic Poison Dupe from La Rive I had to test it right away, so I went out and found it... I find the bottle actually quite pretty and valuable ... Then I spray the fragrance on myself, honestly I expected a little more wums but Sweet Hope is rather reserved, warm, vanilla, sweet and sexy like the base of Hypnotic Poison if you already wear it for hours.
I like that very much because it always makes it wearable even on warm summer evenings :) The durability is not quite so great but for the price I like to add again

Younger than the original

The original that this perfume is clearly based on is now represented in all perfume trends again this winter and that's why I sprayed it on myself in the perfumery. I undoubtedly found the original great, but due to the vanilla-almond composition it was also very heavy, undynamic and old. Actually a great fragrance world, but more for my mother or grandma than for me. But because the scent didn't let me go, I wanted to give him a chance without putting 50€ into the sand.

I bought this fragrance (also on the flacon it is very clear) for 6 €. And he'd be worth twice as much to me loosely. The vanilla is pleasantly creamy and heavy, but doesn't hit you so hard in the head (or better in the nose) as the original. I smell almonds less here, but I smell coconut. All in all very close to the original, a very round scent, which is more like an EdT (but it is excellent with EdP) and a bit lighter compared to the original EdT (which looks more like an EdP).

I love it - better for me than the original! Younger, lighter, more dynamic!

Better than the other fragrance

I wrote it the other day on a topic in the forum. I got to know Sweet Hope in Las Vegas in a shopping mall. Looking for the ultimate fragrance, knowing neither HP nor dupes. It was love at first sniff. That gourmand, sweet and marzipan-like. I bought it immediately. I think for $60, my husband still asked me why I didn't take the "take 3 pay 2" offer. But I am - thank goodness - not a stock buyer. In the hotel, I then googled whether I get because this great fragrance also in Germany and was somewhat shocked when I saw the names of large drugstores and especially the price.
I have Sweet Hope of course compared with the original. But what can I say? I think Sweet Hope is better. It is lighter, less "stale." I love him and smile every time again when I stand in the drugstore at the checkout and see the price.

Musky drydown

I bought this fragrance the Christmas season before last because it reminded me of a Christmas room fragrance that was unfortunately sold out, so I thought I wasn't doing anything wrong.
I sprayed it a few times in the apartment and liked it quite a lot at first. However, after a short time it got on my nerves... I thought I would use it again the following Christmas, but I only did that once and then the scent really bothered me.

In the drydown (and it spreads very quickly) it smells rather old-fashioned to me. Very musky.
How this fragrance or its great role model Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette can be considered the ultimate sexy is a great mystery to me.

But yes - again and again I come to the realization that tastes and fragrance sensibilities are very individual... and this is no exception.

Ghost of Hypnotic poison

I live in Germany and this is discussed as a Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette dupe on several blog posts and videos. I love Hypnotic poison and tested the dupe while I was in the drugstore. So it's currently really cold and humid just for consideration and I have rather dry skin. I sprayed twice on my wrist and first was just the scent of alcohol. I expected this from a very cheap product. A minute later there was a faint sweetness and it slowly resembled Door's HP. There is nothing much to say. Projection next to non, no Sillage and the scent was gone after an 1 hr. I mean this is sold as EDP. thee reality is rather a body splash. This perfume is so faint and watered down, that I am really disappointed. The performance is beyond weak compared to the original, but even if I didn't know the intoxicating HP, I wouldn't ever buy this fragrance.
In conclusion :It's a no. Not even if you're on a budget. It's a waste of money.
An alternative discussed was Kenzo Amour and I agree to the resemblance. Maybe try this out instead.
