Am I standing in the forest here?
The lady needed a refill of her new favorite from the drugstore, and since it would be unfair if she got something and I didn't, I quickly grabbed a little affordable option for myself as well. Since my last purchases were a citrusy freshie and an aquatic freshie, this time I opted for a green freshie. And well, here we are!
Scent:
One thing upfront: I am not a professional, just an average perfume enthusiast. If I remember the original Cool Water correctly, this one is "greener" in comparison. Still nice and clean and fresh. More like the clear spring in a fir forest, if I wanted to express it visually. And I find it strikingly less synthetic. Works for me!
Longevity:
At least on par with the original. Quite impressive for a fresh scent. Hats off.
Sillage:
Initially quite present. After 1-2 hours, it becomes a bit more subtle but still noticeable. Works, especially at this price.
Bottle:
I like the bottle. Nice and simple, great color. The cap and sprayer are rather functional.
Price/Performance:
For €7.50 / 100ml, an absolute no-brainer. And even fans of the original should give it a sniff. Clear recommendation.
