Let’s start by taking a look at the name of this quite exciting fragrance, which couldn’t be more fitting for the current season. "Vanhera".

"Van" = vanilla and "Hera" translates from Latin to mean "mistress".
With Hera, the goddess and guardian of marital sexuality, the naming concept likely has nothing to do with it, as Hera’s attribute was, among other things, the pomegranate and not the vanilla pod.
I find the name very, very fitting, but more on that later.

Vanhera is beautifully nestled in a black-anthracite gift box with a label, creating a sense of quality right from the start.
Vanhera's bottle looks high-quality and is dressed with a black band and a black cap, quite befitting for a mistress!

I always find it quite difficult to assess the vanilla note in a perfume, as it often comes off too feminine or the queen of spices appears one-dimensional and boring.
Not so with this fragrance from Laboratorio Olfattivo.

Vanhera manages to enslave other fragrance notes and use them to make the vanilla DNA more exciting. At the same time, this results in the scent moving significantly more towards "unisex".

The vanilla here is in a battle with pepper, cardamom, sandalwood, and cinnamon. Well aware of its superiority over the quartet. This ultimately leads to the vanilla appearing a bit darker and more dimensional. Therefore, in my opinion, it is also more wearable for a man, provided there is a preference for vanilla. However, one thing must be clearly stated, the scepter is not relinquished by the vanilla here!

I find the sillage to be extremely potent, and Vanhera also has good longevity.

So, anyone looking for a great and exciting vanilla scent for the Christmas season should be very well advised here. Due to the wonderful packaging, Vanhera is also perfect as a Christmas gift.
